Creative Commons Search API
To complement Yahoo! Search for Creative Commons that just launched, we've also included CC search support in the Web Search API.
The documentation has been updated to reflect the new license parameter. Let us know if you run into any problems using the Web Search API mailing list.

Jeremy; someone ought to fix the typo on the front of the Y! Creative Commons Search homepage - "Find content I can use for *commerical* purposes".

It's fixed, thanks!

That is one of the most common type of errors in typing and in search. I found out when working on a page that had something to do with kitchen appliances. I kept typing "kitchen applicances" by mistake, and one got left in by accident. Sure enough, people do search for it - it's one of the most natural mistakes made. Some sequences of letters just do that.
