Coldfusion In The House
Coldfusion has been around for more than ten years now, and, as a technology for quickly building dynamic web sites and web applications, it's more popular than ever. To help developers access Yahoo! Web Services using Coldfusion, we've now got a Coldfusion Developer Center on YDN. Wikipedia calls Adobe's Coldfusion an "application server and software development framework," but to the developers who use it, it's often the quickest way to get a dynamic web site up and running. First released in 1995, Coldfusion has evolved quite a bit over the years and now has books, user groups, and even open source clones. Thanks to Coldfusion pro Ray Camden for making this happen.

very cool! i've heard a lot of positive things about YUI, but never really had the time to look into it. having these APIs available will provide a bit more motivation to get in gear.
thanks!

I thought yui (and yui-ext) was the library to learn. Now with ColdFusion 8 using it too I can have my drag-and-drop editors running both. I can try versions that have ColdFusion (or any app server) running the SOA backend and an all javascript frontend.

You may want to add a link to it from your main left bar. it lists the other languages but not ColdFusion yet. :-)

Thanks for giving us an easy resource for learning your APIs in our native language. Your support means a lot and I'll definitely look into using Yahoo APIs more because of it and the fact that there are good examples we can count on.
