Tech Thursday - Sketching Photos, Hacking the big apple, Twitter in Powerpoint and a web identity scanner

Every Thursday is Tech Thursday where we share a random assortment of technical links we found and liked. This time this is posted live from Paris Web - may the wireless stay with me.

• Most of the YDN folks are already in NYC for the Yahoo Open Hack NYC 2009, so if you are on the east coast, drop by!
• PhotoSketch is an amazing tool to sketch a scene and stitch it together from pictures on the internets (also check the gallery).
• Remy Sharp has a nice interactive jQuery documentation.
• Good trick on how to compress Keynote presentations.
• A video of Matt Cutts explaining why pages can still be indexed by Google despite being defined as not indexable in robots.txt
• NYCBigApps is an application challenge to make New York City more transparent, accessible, and accountable.
• SAP released a tool to integrate Twitter into Powerpoint to show tweets from the audience live in your slides. This can get very embarassing.
• Glims is a Safari add-on that makes Safari be more like Firefox - great for people who want to switch.
• IdentEngine is a very clever application that shows you all your identities on the social web - powered by microformats and YQL.
• ABTests is a repository for results of A/B usability tests of web sites.
