MashUp Camp -- Dublin

On November 10-12th, people descended onto Dublin, Ireland for MashUp Camp. We sent our very own Chad Dickerson & Tom Hughes-Croucher to the streets to ask people if they knew what a "mash-up" was. Watch the video to see what they found:

Mashup Camp -- a.k.a The Unconference for the Uncomputer is an unconference-style event that's dedicated to bringing together the Internet software mashup community for a face-to-face collaborative meetup where new relationships are formed, old relationships are nurtured, ideas are shared, multiple balls are moved forward, and innovation happens in real-time.

Man these videos may have some good content but the on-air personalities blow! Not just this video but the other two I have watched. I'm all for watching nerds talk about what they love to do on a static cam positioned in the back of the room and audio that hisses and breaks up, but these idiots make it unbearable to watch. Guys this is yahoo, and video production doesn't take any money. Have two other on-air talents lined up and slap the first guy/gal off when they start being [lame].

Thanks,
-Matt

Glad you at least like the content, Matt. We'll do our best to polish up so everything in here is nice and shiny. But if you don't like the people, then you may need to find another source for this subject matter. We have no intentions of using talking heads or making overproduced infomercials. We're here to show the real people behind the technology.

This is YDN. The Yahoo Developer Network. For real developers, by real developers. From what I read from the first comment I suggest this person to try out mtv.com? There's plenty of 'talented' airheads to be found on there.
