Here are the winning hacks from Hack Day, as submitted for entry. We asked each hacker or hack team to tell us what they were making, who was on the team and what Yahoo! APIs they were using.
We've also included a URL to the hack where available for everyone to see.

The Color Field Camera
- DESCRIPTION: A 1950s snapshot camera with built-in LCD screen. Blends live video with flickr images that match the color of the object in the center of your view. A mash-up inspired by the Flickr Color Pickr and RGBy.

2nd Place: Flickr Photo Postcard
- DESCRIPTION: Send a postcard of a Flickr photo to a friend's email. Just find a cool photo on Flickr, click the send postcard button, fill in the email and message, and click send!

3rd Place: Something with your email
- DESCRIPTION: Just a draft of turning microcontent from email to actionable goodness.
- TEAM: Christine Hodges

In case it's not obvious, some of the categories were created by the judges on the fly. Though winning a TV or a lifetime Flickr Pro account was a nice incentive, the important thing was to acknowledge people for thinking creatively and delivering something that works. Perhaps even more important was to have some fun doing it.
